A Collaboration of the Future...

Delivered in September 2011, the beautiful Airbus ACJ-318 is the latest aviation project ot take to the skies from the Andrew Winch Designs aviation design team. The Client, a business man who is regularly required to fly long distance for either work or leisure, wanted an aircraft that could be delivered in the shortest of time, yet to the highest of design standards. Working from the Airbus Series standard platform, we have created a beautifully sophisticated and contemporary look for the interior cabin. Epitomising the signatures of Airbus, Lufthansa Technik and Andrew Winch Designs, she boasts unrivalled quality and attention to detail.

Our Client requested a fresh and sophisticated flying environment that would work seamlessly for both his personal and business use. As an experienced Aircraft owner, a definitive brief was outlined on both the decorative and functional requirements needed to ensure that his time on board could be both efficient and pleasurable.

The interior of this Airbus ACJ-318 is luxurious, enriched by traditional detailing and elegant finishes. With a cream, white and blue colour scheme, the cabin is complimented by high gloss rosewood and almond gold fittings throughout. The contrast of the crisp upholstery against the high-gloss mid/dark toned wood creates a rich homely feel throughout the interior cabin.

The cream and white upholstery in a combination of leathers, fabrics and ostrich skin creates a sophisticated textural diversity, incorporating the Client's love of traditional saddle-stitching.

Looking towards 2012, Andrew Winch Designs are continuing to work with the operators of the plane, with plans to create more unique A-318 aircraft interiors in the New Year!

CMN LINE 65 – je ne sais quoi

To celebrate the successful French/English collaboration between the shipyard and designer, Andrew Winch Designs have created the CMN LINE 65, a yacht that epitomises the sophistication of the French Riviera. The result is truly unique and one that certainly has a certain, je ne sais quoi.

Although launched from Cherbourg, CMN Shipyard's love of the Cote d'Azur is clearly seen in each of their yachts. With their ability to build such great naval architecture, Andrew Winch Designs looked to create a yacht which would reflect their French design heritage!

The new CMN LINE 65 reflects the exclusivity and comfort synonymous with the 60's era. Influenced by the hugely admired 1960's Citroen DS and the classic Riva - so loved by the likes of the iconic French actress Brigitte Bardot.

The pure and softly sculpted forms are gently broken by the characteristic creases seen on the DS bonnet and complimented further by the dramatic stainless steel leading edge that sweeps around the superstructure!

With the award winning engineering in place from the CMN LINE 60, the longer and larger CMN LINE 65 will no doubt continue the success of her Sisterships, Slipstream and Cloud 9.
