At the beginning of 'Movember' (November) Andrew Winch, Nick Priest and Nick Brosnan embarked on a hair-raising journey to grow a stylish Moustache in order to raise money and awareness for men's health, in particular Prostate Cancer.

Thankfully Andrew, Nick B and Nick P are all in fine health, and although they have never been personally effected by this disease they fully appreciate the need to raise awareness about prostate cancer.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, with one man dying every hour from the disease in the UK. Following the month of Movember, The Prostate Cancer Charity will use the money raised for the development of programs related to awareness, public education, advocacy, support of those affected, and research into the prevention, detection, treatment and cure of prostate cancer.

Throughout November Andrew, Nick B and Nick P endured the itch of facial stubble, were named the reformed ' Village People' and have been more thean creative with the shaping of their 'Taches'! However their new style was not in vain, collectively they have been overwhelmed with the generosity and support from friends and colleagues, and have raised a staggering £10,150 for the cause!

The inaugural ShowBoats Design Awards took place at the exclusive Mar A Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida on Tuesday evening.

We were very proud to collect three awards on behalf of two of our latest yachts, the 60m M/Y Slipstream and 60m M/Y Cloud 9.

A panel of judges, comprised of Superyacht Owners, naval architects, senior yacht Captains and Crew, as well as six independent design professionals with no link to the superyacht industry awarded Andrew Winch Designs the coveted,

‘Exterior Design & Styling: Motor Yacht’, ‘Crew & Service Area Design’ and ‘Interior Recreational Area Design’.

Andrew Winch said “We are delighted to have won all three awards, collectively they recognise all aspects of our design including, interior, exterior and crew areas.

Both Cloud 9 and Slipstream are such individual and beautiful yachts. The contrast between them only illustrate the versatility of the CMNLine 60 series…they would be better described as cousins then sisterships!”

The collaboration between Andrew Winch Designs and CMN Shipyard to produce the unique CMNLine 60 has created an unrivalled design for a yacht of this size. The semi-custom design has been carefully planned to allow our Clients to enjoy a flexible interior within a tried-and-tested seaworthy hull.

Since their delivery, both yachts have been recognised for both their design and facilities, and have subsequently enjoyed a very successful first year of charter for our Clients.
